About the Role

Responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
- Update and maintain the general ledger
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Recording of debits and credits
- Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
- Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
- Monitor any variances from the projected budget
- Business coordination with his 3 businesses and teams
- Billing and accounting activities
- Writing and maintaining documentation and SOPs
- Create presentations and reports as needed
- Handles customer and employer information confidentially
- General support and admin tasks as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of demonstrated ability to provide detailed level bookkeeping support – accounts payable, accounts receivable, closing books on a monthly basis and preparing financial reporting and analysis for small businesses.
- 1+ years of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks for/in a professional organization.
- Willingness to consistently and accurately follow established policies and procedures.
- A passion for and a sense of personal satisfaction in delighting clients and helping small businesses succeed.
- Confidence in learning and embracing new technology to solve client issues.
- Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while working with a client data.
- A dedicated office space that has a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
- EFSET C1/C2 English proficiency
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills

- Proficient with Microsoft or G-Suite Products; Ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Can work full-time: 40 hours/week
- You're comfortable being uncomfortable and figuring things out on the fly. Our team is small and new, but we'll give you the autonomy to help build processes from scratch
- You're driven and goal-oriented. It can be challenging to stay focused with so much freedom and autonomy, but you're great at striving toward the prize.
